Bollywood actress Genelia Deshmukh (formerly Genelia D’Souza) is in a new ad as spokesperson for Procter & Gamble skincare brand Olay in India.
In a 1-minute L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, Deshmukh, who has maintained her distance from the camera after her marriage and motherhood, introduces the idea that people have a “skin age” and that Deshmukh’s skin age was older than her actual age before using Olay Total Effects creams.
If you need a few minutes to wrap your head around that concept, take your time –it took us years to digest The Matrix.
At any rate, the incredibly lovely Deshmukh was so distraught with her skin after giving birth that she couldn’t look at herself in the mirror she tells us in the ad.

Alas! The Bollywood actress and new mother declares that Olay saved her from dull and patchy skin and now her face now glows so much after using the product that her husband suggested she take a pregnancy test.
Walking a thin line their hubby.
