Puma has appointed Havas Media to media buying and planning for the brand globally following a multi-agency pitch, that sees the account pass from the hands of Publicis Media-owned Blue 449 was the incumbent.

According to estimates from consultancy firm R3, Puma spends upwards of US$120m a year on media, making the account a watershed for Havas, which has previously worked with the brand in Australia and the United States, on creative accounts.
