The inaugural LIA Chinese Creativity Award show has released its list of LIA statues to the winners.

“It is a pleasure to be here in Shanghai to honor the winners of the first global awards for Chinese language Creativity,” said Levy. “Gordon Tan has worked diligently to bring these awards to fruition. I am proud that LIA is the only global award to integrate work that was created in Chinese language and judged by individuals that speak the language and understand the culture. Congratulations to all the winners.”

An Honorary Award was presented to Mr T.B. Song, Chairman of Ogilvy Greater China for his relentless and continuous support and growth of advertising in China. Since 1994 he helped drive and grow China’s ad industry, he has also very strongly supported the LIA Chinese Creativity Show.

Malcolm Poynton, Global CCO of Cheil was the speaker for the evening.

The final round of judging was held at Encore Las Vegas in October. Chinese Creativity was judged by a panel of respected Chinese language jurors; Spencer Wong (CCO McCann & Spencer Hong Kong), Michael Dee (CCO United Advertising Taiwan), Alice Chou (CCO Dentsu Taiwan), Chris Soh (CD & Head of Art Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore), Kin Chong (CCO Serviceplan Beijing) and Yiyang Hei (Founder & CD Sense Team Shenzhen).

After several days of discussion they awarded the coveted LIA statue to the following:

“We’re humbled and incredibly proud of our best year ever at LIA,” said Paul Chan, CCO, Cheil Worldwide Hong Kong.

In addition to the seven statue winners, 57 entries attained Finalist status. All the winners and finalists were honored at the award ceremony in Shanghai.
